2nd Annual In-Water Boat Show & Sale

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
JOIN US! On Saturday, May 17th (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and Sunday, May 18th (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), the Village of Elk Rapids and the E.C. Grace Memorial Harbor will be hosting a boat show. New and used boats will be displayed ashore and afloat. This is a great opportunity for your to advertise, inform and educate potential clients about your boating-related products and services.
Hundreds of qualified visitors and buyers are expected to attend. Admission is free. Refreshments, music and childcare/entertainment will be provided. A minimum of 53 water spaces will be filled with boats for sale. Spaces are also available in the harbor parking lot.
Marketing: Letters will be sent out to all the seasonal slip holders. The event will be advertised in the local and Traverse City newspapers. Elk Rapids Chamber, Elk Rapids Yacht Club and Elk Rapids Harbor will be advertising the event on their websites. Boater tabloids will feature ads and information. Radio advertising will be used closer to the event. We will be advertising the event on 107.5 (WCCW), 92.9 and ESPN Radio. Guests will receive a brochure listing the boats for sale, their location and the contact names and number. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the event. Vendors will also be listed in the brochure. Signage will be posted beginning May 10th.
Parking: A shuttle service will be available to all auxiliary lots. Vendors will park at the gravel lot located on Bridge St. next to the police station. The public will park at the Cedar St. lot.
